Gaining Ground Group are excited to announce our recent partnership with the legendary band, The Waterboys. As part of this exciting collaboration, we have taken on the responsibility of managing their touring merchandise operations and ecommerce rights. Having successfully executed these duties throughout their European tour earlier this year, we are gearing up to continue this operation during The Waterboys' highly anticipated UK tour in October.
Tim Bowers, Gaining Ground’s VP Product Management, explained that with the business taking charge of The Waterboy’s touring merchandise and ecommerce operations “... this represents our comprehensive business model that encompasses all aspects of the merch offering”. He goes on to explain that “By controlling the entire process, from production to distribution, we "close the loop" and ensure a seamless and cohesive experience for both the band and their fans.
